The Legend of 1900 by Giuseppe Tornatore, with a Golden Globe-winning score by Ennio Morricone. One of the best movies I have ever seen, capturing the essence of natural female beauty. I do believe that Giuseppe wanted to convey the futility of life by exploring the infinite possibilities of the piano, God's piano. Melania Thierry, the actress who starred in the love scene, was impeccably beautiful without make-up. She wipes her face with a towel, then rubs her eyes in sync with the soft piano strokes...  

I have seen such beauty emanate from the face of an anxious 20-year-old Chinese immigrant at uni 30 years ago. She would brush her hair aside in the breeze while staring at me through wanton eyes. She was always so clean to the nose and taste. She had clean labia and delicious lips. All the best parts of her mother. Her soul was caged inside the vanity of being an overachieving Chinese foot soldier for the CCP. Yes. She admired the CPP and scolded me for not respecting the old regime. She used to teach me how to write Japanese kanji correctly. I enjoyed caressing her perfectly formed jawbone in the car. She was so pretty.

I never take for granted the opportunity to appreciate the expression of love. Hot kisses in the evening. The smell of Biore in her hair. A sniff and peck on the nape. A warm embrace. Long kiss on the cheekbone. Moving lips down from rounded kneecaps to Muff Fuji is divine. All sympathy to me.

When the Showa generation came around, Japanese women refined and defined their own beauty standards. I give you Takamine Mieko (高峰三枝子, 1918–2009). Takamine Mieko was a celebrated Japanese actress and singer, often called one of the great beauties and emotional performers of early Shōwa-era cinema. By 1936, she was already a recognizable rising star.  

So many great beauties had evolved from her generation... Nowadays, most men have forgotten the natural beauty of real women. A gentle reminder to the heathens, this SHE is why music and poetry were written.
