What to Love about Japan

 

1) 24-hour convenience stores all under 10 ~ 15-minute walk depending on where you live.  Sells almost everything except car parts...( chuckle ). 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️🚶🏪🏪🏪

2) Mass transit is near perfect with connecting routes to almost anywhere.  🚞🚆🚂🚉💺🚊

3) Can walk home after midnight in most areas except some parts of Osaka. 🕛🕛🕛✨

4) Overall cleanliness, even public restrooms in parks are clean and well-stocked.🚾🚻

5) Quality of and life is quite high here. 

6) Standard of Living is high

9) Postal and courier network is phenomenal. 📮🏣🏣🏣🏣郵便

10) Diverse selection of restaurants.  i.e. There are more Michelin Starred restaurants in Japan than in France. 

11) Gyms and fitness centers are well maintained and safe.💪🏋️‍♀️🏋️‍♂️

12) Municipal government is well run and efficient.

13) Public Works and highways are well maintained.  i.e. no potholes in streets. 

13) Shopping is great!

14) Ethnic dishes taste better in Japan than in the countries they represent.  e.g. KFC and McDs in Japan is far superior in terms of quality and service.  i.e. fries are always perfect.  Chinese food in Japan is far superior than in China.   Cannot say the same for Korean food in Korea.  Korean food in Korea is the BEST.

15) The locals are non-confrontational and will rarely if ever speak their mind to you.  

16) Digital terrestrial TV networks are high vision.  Television and cell networks are always optimal, as well as broadband and fiber optics are amazing. 

17) Millions of vending machines all over the country, and can purchase alcohol from some.

18) Produce is always bigger and fresher here.  Garlic in Japan is superior in a lot of ways to other countries. 

19) Variety of seafood both at market and supermarkets are exceptional at best. 🌊🐟🐠🦀🐙🐬🐬🐬🐬🐙🐙🐙

20) Police are present everywhere, but not confrontational.  👮‍♀️👮🚔🚔🚓

21) Japanese gang members are more cute than scary.  Almost like you want to go up to them and pinch their cheeks and hug them.  No threat at all. 🏍🏍🏍🏍

22) Taxis are better here than in any country I have ever visited. 🚕🚕🚕🚖🚖🚖🚖

23) No tipping for anything.

24) The locals will do anything to accommodate you.

25) There is a niche group for almost anything in Japan. 

26) You can marry robots. i.e. cyber wife <= Very true. 🤖🤖🤖🤖🤖🦾🦾🦿🦿🦿

27) Dating scene is brisk and exciting. 

28) Nightlife is exciting and never sleeps.

29) You can purchase movie and concert tickets at the convenience store using your smartphone.  Bus and airline tickets, too. 

30) You can have your parcels delivered to any convenience store for pick-up 24 hours a day.

31) If you go on a ski trip you can have your skis delivered to your hotel from a convenience store. 

32) Great hiking and mountain climbing trails.

33) Excellent dog parks and grooming facilities for them everywhere.

34) The pet industry is worth about 3 trillion USD.  Pet owners push their dogs around in baby strollers here.

35) Historical places are all over the city.

36) Tap water is clean and delicious

37) No water restrictions...i.e. take showers as long as you want!
